Serenity by the Sea is a three-star resort at 88 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, in the heart of Mui Ne. The property sits directly on the seafront, with steps leading down into the water, an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas, and a garden and sun terrace for slow afternoons. Cafés and restaurants are a few steps from the entrance, and a kitesurfing centre is around 500 metres away.
Eight room types suit couples, friends and families: twin and queen rooms of 30 m² looking onto the garden, a Classic Triple, two quadruple rooms for four, and the 47 m² Deluxe Double with a balcony over the sea. The units are elegantly furnished in cream shades, with a seating area, a flat-screen TV, a minibar, an electric kettle and an en suite bathroom with shower and free toiletries.
Mornings start with breakfast, continental, à la carte or a Full English/Irish. The 24-hour front desk, where staff speak English, Vietnamese and Welsh, handles tours, airport transfers, car hire and luggage storage. Wi-Fi is free throughout, and windsurfing, cycling and massages can be arranged.

Seven of the eight types list the same comforts: air conditioning, soundproofing, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a minibar, a tea and coffee maker, a safe and a private bathroom with free toiletries, slippers and a hairdryer. Choose twin beds, a king or a super-king for two, or the triple and quadruple rooms if you're travelling as a family.
Days at Serenity by the Sea move between the pool and the sea. The outdoor pool is lined with sun loungers and umbrellas, and there is a garden, a sun terrace and a bar. Breakfast is served daily, packed lunches can be prepared for excursions and special diet menus are available on request.
The 24-hour front desk offers express and private check-in, luggage storage, currency exchange and a tour desk, and can book an airport shuttle, car hire or public transport tickets. Massages, windsurfing and mini golf come at extra charge, while daily housekeeping and laundry are part of the service.

Mui Ne has no airport of its own yet, so most travellers fly into Tan Son Nhat in Ho Chi Minh City, about 200 km to the south-west. The Dau Giay–Phan Thiet expressway has brought the drive down to roughly three and a half to four hours by car, while buses and sleeper coaches take around four to five hours. Trains also run to Phan Thiet station, about 15 km from the resort by road, with taxis or Grab covering the last stretch. The front desk can book an airport shuttle at extra charge, and car hire is available. Check-in is from 14:00 to 18:00, so let the property know your arrival time in advance.
Mui Ne is all about sand, wind and sea. At dawn the fishing village fills with round basket boats unloading the night's catch, so aim to be there between 5:00 and 7:00. Fairy Stream, around 5 km away, is an ankle-deep walk between red clay and limestone formations. The red dunes, about 9 km away, are at their best at sunset for sandboarding, while the white dunes of Bau Trang, some 25 km out, reward an early start for sunrise. Ong Dia Rock Beach is a four-minute drive. Kitesurfing season runs from November to April, with lighter morning winds for beginners; from May to October the sea is calmer for swimming. Grab and local taxis are the easiest way to move between the sights.
